Heal Their Hurt

Discover the power of Canine Massage

Canine Massage:

Canine massage is the therapeutic application of ‘hands-on’ techniques to a dog’s soft tissues, including muscles, tendons and ligaments. Therefore, it can be extremely beneficial for supporting disorders of tendons and muscles in dogs. It is a non-invasive, holistic approach used to support your dog’s physical and emotional health.  Any dog of any age can benefit.

Is Canine Massage right for your dog?

Clinical canine massage can help release tight muscles, remove trigger points, and rehabilitate soft tissue injuries, potentially improving mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing overall wellbeing.

Happy Dog

What to expect during a session?

  • Initial Consultation (30–45 mins): Includes health history, discussion of your goals, and a brief physical assessment as well as a gait assessment.

  • Massage Session (45–60 mins): Tailored to your dog’s specific needs/requirements. I will work at your dog’s pace with positive reinforcement and patience.

  • Post-Session Review: I will provide feedback, observe any changes, and suggest follow-up care or exercises if this is required for the benefit of the dog.

Your dog’s needs are always at the forefront of the sessions. I feel strongly about building trust and rapport with the dog, as well as the pet carer, therefore breaks, treats, and comfort are prioritised throughout, whenever required. Please inform me of any allergies or if for any reason, you do not want treats to be used.
