Pet Bereavement Counselling

Losing a beloved pet is profoundly painful, often bringing the same deep sadness, guilt, anger, or loneliness as losing a human family member. Pet bereavement support offers emotional support and therapy to help individuals cope with this grief and loss.

What Pet Bereavement Counselling Offers:

  • Emotional Support: A non-judgmental space to talk about your feelings, memories, and the relationship you had with your pet.

  • Grief Processing: Tools and techniques to work through the various stages of grief—shock, denial, anger, guilt, depression, and acceptance.

  • Validation: Reassurance that your grief is normal and significant, even if others may not fully understand it.

  • Coping Strategies: Practical methods for managing day-to-day sadness, anxiety, or trauma related to the pet’s death.

  • Ritual Guidance: Suggestions for memorialising your pet, creating rituals, or finding closure in meaningful ways.
