Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) is a type of talking therapy that aims to cultivate self-compassion and reduce shame and self-criticism, which are often linked to various mental health challenges.

CFT focuses on understanding and changing negative self-talk, fostering a kinder relationship with oneself, and ultimately improving emotional well-being.

 

CFT can be used as a stand-alone therapy or blended with other therapies like CBT.
